BIG HOUSE is the brainchild of The Performance Corporation – Ireland’s award-winning site-specific theatre company, based at Castletown House.
It has created ground-breaking work in Ireland, USA, the UK, Finland and Kenya. Recent work has ranged from Swampoodle – a large-scale performance in an abandoned 9,000 seater stadium in Washington DC, as part of Culture Ireland’s 2011 Imagine Ireland programme and Across the Lough, a work for a tiny audience on a row boat.
