Artisan Food Village

BIG HOUSE is not just about great arts and entertainment – it’s about tasty treats, gourmet food and delectable drinks.

Showcasing high quality meat and vegetarian sausages and chips, Sausagefest is serving local producer Jane Russell’s meat sausages. Jane carries on the heritage of local, high quality, handmade sausage, sourced from of course Bord Bia approved Irish farms. Vegetarian? Don’t despair. Sausagefest will offer Cornucopia Vegetarian Sausages from Wicklow Street, a long established Vegetarian and Wholefood Restaurant.

The Tesco Homegrown van will serve BBQ chicken baps in a floury bap, topped with family mixed leaves, chicken breast, red onion slices and BBQ sauce. All ingredients are from Tesco Homegrown range. Whenever you see the ‘homegrown in Ireland’ logo, you’ll know it means seasonal, fresh and Irish. This means you can be safe in the knowledge that your food is produced by growers and suppliers within Ireland.

To keep the standard of coffee high for the BIG HOUSE festival, Badger & Dodo will see to it that the finest coffee is available to you festival round. Badger & Dodo are expert, boutique coffee roasters. Since 1993, they have served the finest coffee for the Irish palette. Now at the BIG HOUSE Festival.

The Castletown staple, The Courtyard Cáfe will along with their usual offering be having two gazebos around Castletown serving takeaway coffees, prosseco,  gourmet burgers, and other types of street food.
